Tuesday is a happy day

Me : Leng Leng, today is Tuesday, Tuesday is a happy day...
.
You : Happy day happy birthday to you arr?
.
Me : Emm, yes...Happy day is as happy as happy birthday to you....
.
You : Oh....(Clap hands and sing) Happpy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you
.
You and Me : Yeah!!! Blow!!! Cut!!! Eat Yum Yum!!! :D
.
Yes !!! Everyday is a happy day :)
.
.
Back from school, you'll open up the sliding doors, bringing your bag and sit on the floor @ the garden, finish all those unfinished foods you brought to school, while mummy's preparing your lunch.
.

.
Last week, you was put to stand at the 'naughty corner' in the school. Teacher said you refused to read and circle the correct answer.
.
And then, one day at home, you discovered the cellophone tape in the drawer, you took it out and requested me to tear one small piece for you, so that you can tape your mouth. Where is this silly request comes from? *rolling eyes**
..

.
Yesterday, I casually asked teacher about this. Afterall, this is not as what you told me, teacher has never did that on you nor other students, teachers have been threatening those very talkative sudent about using cellophone tape to stick up their mouth, but it's just a trick of threatening. Hmm...alright, I gotta believe it!!! Believe that my little girl is not naughty to that extent :)
.

.
Almost everyday, these will happen...
.
Shouts 'my press, my press' when you and your friend fight who's going to press the lift later.
.
Shouts when your friend run faster than you and you are left behind.
.
Shouts when your friend is talking to me and you want to talk to me too.
.
My little girl, mummy can hear you, can hear you when you talk softly, can hear you even when you didnt speak up, do not shout again ya :)

Viral Infection

Cayden has mild fever after we travelled back from JB last Saturday evening, with some red rashes on his tummy. Initially we thought it's 风膜, brought him to a child specialist at Cheras, doctor mentioned that it's caused by allergy. Cayden has red throat, lot of phelgm, runny nose and cough. Given some fever medicine, throat aids and some lotion for body. Cayden's fever came down after the night.
.
The next morning. Cayden's fever comes back again, we brought him to our family doctor for consultation. Doctor mentioned that this is just some common flu and fever, nothing much to worry. He gave us some antibiotic just in case the fever persist. We didnt send Cayden back to nanny's house that night. The fever comes and goes, comes and goes for 2 days, the fever medicine couldnt last for 6 hours, the most 5 hours, fever strike Cayden again, recorded at least 38.5 degree celcius each time. Aunty called us on Monday night around 11pm, saying Cayden is having high fever again, 38.6 degree celcius and the next feeding of medicine should be at 1am. I was extremely worry, run down to inform hubby on this, we decided to bring Cayden to hospital. Putting Tiffy in the carseat without waking her up, we headed to aunty house and then Prince Court. And it's a long long night......
.
Once we arrived at emergency department at Prince Court, the nurse took Cayden's temperature, 39.1 degree celcius, my poor boy....Immediately, they gave him the fever medicine from buttock which act faster and then sponge him with cold water. How to sponge him? I have to take off all his clothes, left with diaper and then put him to sit on the bed with some water resistant mat, the nurse used the towel to wet his head, armpit and whole body, which the nurse said can bring down his body temperature more quickly. Cayden's pity, crying very loud, stretching out his hand as if he's asking for help. He's not allowed to put on his clothes nor dry the water on his head and body, I hugging him tightly, wishes I can warm him up alittlebut despite the high temperature he's having in his body. After a while, when he's almost fall asleep in my arm, the nurse come back, they wanted to take some of his blood to do a test. OH GOSH!!! The nurse can sense that I'm not willing to see all this...I left Cayden in the ward with a few nurses, they wrapped him with blanket so that he wont fight or move when they take the blood...My pity boy, shouting his lung out, crying badly....It took so so so long, i was like waiting for ages outside until I was called to go in again...My poor boy....While waiting for the blood report, Cayden was put to a nebulizer to help him breath better as well as to clear the phelgm..In my arm, he fall asleep...After 30 minutes, the blood report out, nothing major, it's perhap some viral infection which I do not know that is that at that moment. Doctor said that antibiotic wont help if it's viral infection, my baby boy has to fight with the bacteria on his own, the fever medicine could help to bring down the temperature, but it takes time for the body to react and fight...Doctor said we can consider to get Cayden admitted for 24 to 48 hours, with the help of nebulizer, it can clear his phelgm more effectively. Hubby rejected and insisted to bring Cayden home and said that we will keep close monitoring on him. Ya...close monitoring...it's going to be a long night....
.
On Tuesday morning, we brought Cayden back to Prince court for checkup, everything seems going very well. Eventhough Cayden still on medication, but fever is in control. We sent him back to nanny's house on Tuesday night after observing for the day and believe that everything is alright...I called thousand times to aunty to check on Cayden, reminded her to give him the medicine on time and check on his temperature regularly.
.
Wednesday, after I've done with the ironing in the evening, I felt that I wanted to pay a visit to my baby boy to see how he's coping. He's awake when I arrived, but not as active as usual, he prefer to lie down most of the time, he dont smile or laugh as many as usual, he has some red rashes on his face and body which auntie told me it's normal when the fever is going to settle. I checked on his temperature, 37.6 degree celcius, it's 5pm, I was thinking it's alright to wait until 6pm for next medicine. Auntie took him for a shower, after he came out, I feel that his body heat is increasing, 38.6 degree celcius?? I thought something wrong with the thermometer. After a while, I tested again, still 38.6 degree celcius? I cant believe my eyes, 10 minutes ago, it was 37++ degree celcius. Immediately, I asked auntie to give him the fever medicine, the fever didnt settle and Cayden looks very tired, he dont even want to sit up. Rashes all over his body and face, what's wrong?? I do not know what to do? I told aunty that I want to bring Cayden home.
In the car, Cayden did not make a fuss as usual when I put him in the carseat, he looks exhausted and tired. Seeing him in this condition, I'm worried, hubby did not pick up my call and it's 7pm+. How? I decided to bring Cayden to Prince Court immediately, I do not want any delay cause his condition worst off. And Tiffy supposed to have her milk at 6pm but I did not bring any with me, 7pm will be a peak traffic jam hour in city centre. I dont care and I cant care so much at this moment. As expected, traffic was smooth for the first half of journey and then when get closer to city centre, it started to jam. Cayden's lying on his carseat and Tiffy's sitting next to him without knowing what happened. I put on the double signals, hoping people will give way and I was totally wrong, people wont care!!! Cayden started to make a fuss and cried, I cried too, so helplessly....Finally, we reached at Emergency...The nurse took Cayden's temperature, 37.1 degree celsius, I feel relief....Yet, he has more red reshes all over his body. Doctor said when red rashes come out, means fever is going to settle. Since Cayden's fever is coming down, we made an appointment to see Cayden's pae tomorrow morning and left Prince Court.
.
Thursday morning, we are at prince court again, the 4th visit in a week, Cayden's fever is no longer persist. The last few feedings was on 6 hourly basis. When Cayden's pae saw the rashes, she happily said that it's good rash, after the rashes come out, fever should be settled by then. Nothing much to worry and he can stop the medication, feed him when necesary. That day and night, we did not send Cayden back to aunty's house too. And for the whole night, the fever did not come back anymore.
.
Friday night, Cayden has finally fully recovered, he's very active now, crawl and climb everywhere, his appetite is getting better, can drink 7oz of milk now (he drank 4-5oz when he's sick). This is a long journey, my little boy suffered alot, he lose weight too, weighted 9.4kg as at now. Getting sick is suffering, I just wish he can be healthy and happy always.
